We all gathered in Templeton, CA again this year for the Annual Cowell Reunion in early August - Templeton is a good central location with a great park to hold a BBQ. We didn't have a big turnout, but it is always nice to visit with my family that we don't get to see very often. Here she is with her siblings; Aunt Shirley, Mom, Uncle Al, & Uncle Roger.
Uncle Roger & my cousin Larry have taken over the "grill master" duties & they do a great job! Yummy chicken, trip-tip, & ribs this year...
The rest of us pitch in for the sides & deserts - loved the fresh, home-grown tomatoes!
Great food & great to visit with everyone...
My cousins Craig & Brent are terrific musicians & they provided a little entertainment...
Uncle Al just had my cousin Larry with him this year. Aunt Betty wasn't feeling well & my cousin Gwen had to work. Didn't get to see any of his grandkids or great-grandkids this year...
Auntie Shirley had my cousin Donna & family with her - Donna's husband Joe, their son Bryan, & his daughter Amelia...
Uncle Roger, Aunt Sassy, & their boys, Craig & Brent...
My Uncle Tom (who passed away in the 80's) was represented by his daughter Joy & her daughter Janice...
Mom had the most family represented this year...
My brothers & I do our best to join her when we can, because she is important to us!
Glad to have Ben & Dara join us...

I love my mom's smile in all of these pix. She is happiest when she is surrounded by family.
