The McGrath Midgets in Mesa

I'm not sure if it's politically correct to use the word "midgets" these days, but I can assure you that it is a term of endearment so I hope that I do not offend any little people out there...but we got to visit our favorite McGrath Midgets recently and we had tons of fun!

We missed grandparents day at Cori's school by about a week, so we decided to join her for lunch. She was excited that we came and we enjoyed meeting her friends.

We rode bikes & scooters to the park & climbed trees...

We made cookies & homemade ice cream...

I got a makeover with stickers...

We enjoyed the Veterans Day Parade & got very emotional seeing the veterans & the high school ROTC groups honoring local fallen soldiers...

We watched Cori's soccer game where she made a couple of saves as a goalie AND scored her very first goal! GO CORI!

Some people were more interested in rolling down the hill & chair rides...

While we were there, we saw Puss N Boots. Jason LOVED the "Ooh Cat"...

He came out of the theater like this..."OOOOH!"

We visited Bass Pro Shop. They have TONS of fun things for kids to do...especially around the Holidays. We wrote letters to Santa, mailed them, talked to him & took a picture. We shot guns & sling shots & rode their unique carousel with wild game to ride.

G'pa came away with these...

I got a hair cut...

And we made some silly turkeys that the kids put in their gratitude tree...

Thanks for a wonderful time...we miss you midgets already!
