We were invited to Alana's Big Birthday Celebration! She had planned quite a weekend full of fun for everyone...stretching her birthday out a couple of days.
Of course, I couldn't drive by my Mom's without stopping for a quick visit! I love my mommy!
Alana was so excited to party! The house was all decorated & we got to play with the kids when we got there while Gina ran a few errands...it's great to be 8!
1st stop was a fun filled afternoon at Chuckee Cheese for games...
Then home for presents & cake & ice cream...she was excited to get a Nook that has a digital version of the scriptures & the hymns for church...
On Saturday, her actual birthday, she got ready to for her baptism & we all drove over to the Los Angeles Temple for pictures & enjoy the visitor's center...it's always special when your baptism day can happen on your birthday!
I got to braid Alana's hair for her baptism. We were going for the Katniss Everdeen look but we were a little pressed for time so we did an in-y instead of an out-y.

We all finished celebrating at Elephant Bar. We all sang Happy Birthday to her one last time before we headed home to the River.
