MARCH-ed Out

We finished out March as usual, packing in as much fun as we could...

Full Moon Hikers Club

This month we hiked the Quarry Trail (near the Confluence, where the North Fork of the American River meets the Middle Fork, off Hwy 49 near Auburn).  Some of the group decided to run it while the rest of us just hiked it...another beautiful evening.

Tahoe Bound

Amy invited us up to come & play with them in Tahoe.  There was a spring snow just a few days before, but it pretty much melted by the time we headed up there.  it's always a beautiful drive...

We walked around the shore, took lots of silly pictures, & played Chicken Feet with the Dominoes...

They took us to their favorite pizza place & we discussed our "highs & lows" the night before we all left...

There is something truly heavenly about Tahoe - so peaceful & magnificent!

Dinner with Benara...

We got to visit with Ben & Dara (aka "Benara") at BJ's the other night.  It's always fun to catch up with them & see what they are up to.

Easter Fun

All holidays are much more fun with little ones.  I died one Easter Egg this year with the Young Women at Church one night for one of our activities...

We did take the local grankids to my cousin's house for a little spring break fun in their "arcade"...yes, they have a full on arcade game room in their house!  They have collected some 16 full sized arcade games through the years & they let us have a little party there with the kids (minus Adia who had a PT appointment)...

My cousin, Kim...

The kids plus a couple of Miller cousins...

Kim's daughter Jillian, helped get us all started & showed the kids how the games worked...

Avery was so good to the little ones, helping them reach the controls & work the games they wanted to try...

Rochelle got in a little game time, too...

G'pa got his game on, too...

I'm not sure Adison could even see the screen to see what she was shooting at...

Happy Easter!

We all went to Rochelle's for Easter dinner.  Da Boyz were coloring eggs...

Avery added some final creative touches to a chocolate cake...

The cousins had fun playing together and the big kids hid eggs for the little ones to find...tons of fun!

Ethan kept dodging the camera (too cool to pose for pictures)  I kept trying to get him to smile & just when he was about to crack up, he'd turn his head so I couldn't catch him.  Yep, holidays are way more fun with kids, so don't let your little ones grow up.
