Terri & Leah (& familes) were the last to leave the reunion. Before they left, we did a little exploring. Rick & Ben both enjoy outdoor activities & like to hike. We took them, along with Aunt Nicole, on the Dave Moore Nature walk. It was another beautiful morning & the kids were all in a good mood.
Cooper especially seemed to like being out in the woods...

The girls found a snake climbing around Hamburger Rock, but he didn't hang around very long when he heard their squeals!
Terri & family left after lunch. They were headed to the Bay area for some more family fun & a friend's wedding. The next morning, while helping me in my garden, Keira & Lexi found a good sized watermelon that I hadn't noticed before...
That afternoon we met da Boyz at the Folsom Zoo. It was super hot & you can see how excited Trevor & Ethan are to be there, but da Boyz were good sports...
We ALL rode the train! G'pa had to sit sideways to fit in his car...
It was so hot that many of the animals were either taking a nap or cooling off inside. The little ones seemed interested in how tall they were compared to a bear...
Cooper was happy to run around unrestrained for a little bit...

We went swimming & then out to dinner - the girls didn't quite make it back home...we really wore them out!
They weren't the only ones who were tired...

We made Every Second Count in 2013. Now we have a few months to recover before we start planning for July 2014's reunion!
