Ward Luau

We hosted the Ward BBQ the first week of September.  This year's theme was a luau.  Young Women were in charge of the games, Primary in charge of decor, High Priests set up & clean up, Relief Society brought all the sides & desserts, & Elder's Quorum smoked some great pork!  It has become one of our most popular ward events of the year!

Activities & games - we made Fruit Loop Leis, Hoola Hooped, kicked around some beach balls, tossed water balloons, jumped rope, had noodle sword fights, threw darts at a watermelon pig, & blew bubbles...

Everyone was encouraged to wear Hawaiian attire & we had a "costume" contest...

The Mason's won...

Dan Lund & his son, Randy, headed up the BBQ...soooooo delicious!

Lots of happy smiles as we ate & visited & watched the river roll by as we said "Aloha" to summer...

Our Young Women aren't quite sure what to think about me...but I sure do love working with them!
