...doesn't last long, but it is beautiful!
Everything is so green...briefly. This year things seemed to brown more quickly with the little rain we've had. However, in addition to the blossoms in our orchard on the fruit trees & through out the yard on my "fall color trees" (none of which I have pictures of), I get to enjoy these daffodils & crocus that are scattered about the property. My grandchildren planted them one winter when they came to visit & each springtime it makes me smile & think of them...
The weather is fabulous & it's a great time to be outside playing, hiking, or just watching the River roll by! Of course, there wasn't much water in the River this spring. Paul's parents came for General Conference which happened to be on Easter Sunday this year. We went for a walk & pointed out things we were doing to try & do our part to conserve water. Our lawns are very thirsty with tons of dry spots & we've turned the water off on our "water feature."
A couple of days later, Trey brought his parents to visit! Basketball season was finally over for Ty so they headed for home & left the cold Idaho weather to thaw out in some California springtime sunshine! Trey was a ray of sunshine himself! He is such a good natured little guy, always smiling! So much fun!
Uncle Ty challenged da boyz to some "hoops." Ethan cracked me up because he was worried about embarrassing his Uncle Ty..."I feel bad, does Uncle Ty know how good we are?" Bahahahaha! Ty & Cade beat Trevor & Ethan who had a little taste of "humble pie."
Aunt Nicole came for dinner & brought her new "selfie-stick" - we tried them out together...at the same time!
Trey really liked being outside in the sunshine. He took his parents on several walks & let us tag along...
Such a happy little boy!
Ty set him on the grass & he seemed to like it, but wasn't quite sure what to think about the River...
You can see there's not much water! These rocks are usually covered with water & boats & kayaks float by all summer long. Not much floating going on here...
