Carson helped me prep my garden for Spring planting.

Cade helped me feed the birds by filling up my bird feeder.

Even though this picture is blurry, he was showing me how strong he is because this is “really heavy!”

Da Boyz helped G’pa gather the scraps of wood that was left over from this project…

Seriously? Who has a “tractor-port?”

Of course, there was lots of wood scraps that needed to be cut into smaller pieces & each of da Boyz had to take a turn on the saw…

…and Carson was not going to be left out…

…but putting on the protective gear was as close as he would actually get to the “very loud saw.”

They could have spent all day burning the scraps – what is it with boys & fire?

Ethan preferred breaking the wood scraps up this way…

Of course, we couldn’t let a good fire go to waste – lunch anyone?

These guys are serious hot dog roasters! (Of course, we had to have s’mores for dessert. But they were all done by the time I put Carson down for a nap, so we didn’t get any pictures.)

After lunch there was still work to be done. G’pa mixed up a little cement to replace some of the rocks that had worked loose from the bridge.

We managed to play a little bit, too. Cade says, "Look! I'm the Grumpy Old Troll who lives under the bridge!"

Although Adison was the first one to walk over the bridge, Ethan was the first to ride over it.

All da boyz had their bikes - it’s a great place to ride bikes.

Everything is in bloom. It’s a beautiful time of year.

Hope you had a great Spring Break!

Ok, I am coming to your house!
So fun! I was just thinking, "what are my kids gonna do with out their bikes"? They LIVE on those things!
Great post! WE LOVE THE RIVERHOUSE!!!
Looks like work and play always go hand in hand at the Riverhouse. Wish we were there to enjoy it. Can't wait to see you!
Wow! Lots of new changes. I bet the boys loved helping out! Can't wait to see all the new improvements! Only a few more weeks!!!
Thanks for taking them all day. They had a blast and are still exhausted from their hard work and play. Anytime you want them back I'll let you borrow them!!!
