We played games…

He let the girls help him answer a few emails…

He is; however, somewhat of a “baby hog” – only because he really has a magic touch! He can sooth a fussy baby better than anyone I know.

While he was there, he was able to participate in Roman’s Blessing along with a friend, Uncle Pops (aka, Kiff’s brother Matt), & Crapaw (aka, Kiff’s dad Glade).

It was nice to visit with Kiff’s family afterward (even Christin & her family were here from AZ) & the weather was perfect for a backyard BBQ. These are ALL of the Holyoak cousins - 1/2 of them are Christin’s.

G’pa had to leave the next day, but I stayed on a little while longer. Because of Jill’s C-section, she’s not supposed to lift anything over 10lbs (which makes things difficult since Roman is over 11lbs) so we thought it best to give her a few more days of extra help. She is healing nicely & is feeling better with each day. She even felt up to a couple of outings…
Like “Whaling Days” in Silverdale. All the little ports near them have these great “festivals” & celebrations in their communities. We went to watch the fireworks one night. After we parked Jill & Roman under a tree to hang out with a few 1000 of their closest friends…
We played on the playground, ate yummy food, & we rode some carnival rides while we waited for the fireworks to start…

The next morning we celebrated “Pioneer Day” at their church. The girls were a huge hit in their pioneer dresses.

They decorated flags & their bikes for a parade around the building, then they played family games…

Roman just sat there lookin’ cute.

One evening we took a picnic dinner to Scenic Beach – so beautiful! We ate in the shade of the trees with a gorgeous view, threw rocks in the ocean & played in the water as the sun was setting.

Thanks for letting us share this special time with your special little family…

…he’s gonna be so big when we see him again next month at Uncle Ty’s wedding.

Looks so fun and Jilly Willy looks great!
Thanks for your note! It was so nice to see you in Washington. I sure love Jill--maybe even a little more than Kiff (but don't tell him). I am still amazed at the crafting that went on over there. Where do you come up with these ideas and the energy? You are amazing!!
