Disney with the Bassetts

The last week of September, we joined Leah and family at the "happiest place on earth." We LOVE seeing our grandchildren's first Disney experience - everything is sooo big and sooo exciting! So when Leah invited us to join them for the girls' first trip, we jumped at the chance!

We did all the usual first time things...traditional picture spots, that first walk down Main Street, that first glimpse of the castle...everything is still magical!






We danced and partied with the parades and shows and strutted our Princess attire - we even got our own set of ears!






Of course we rode lots of rides and our little Bassett Babes are tall enough to go on most of the big rides - and they LOVED them all...especially the roller coasters on Big Thunder Mountain and the Matterhorn!









We took pictures with and hugged a few of our favorite characters...






We ate at Ariel's Grotto where we enjoyed a parade of princesses by our table, taking a photo with each one and getting very special princess hugs for the little princesses in training...they truly got the Royal treatment!

I am sad to say goodbye to my Annual Passport (it expires next week)...it's been a Disney-full year and I will miss you Minnie!
