Twice a year we get to hear counsel from the leaders of our church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I LOVE General Conference! It confirms to me that I am a child of God...that He knows me & my concerns...& most specifically that He loves me! I am always amazed that there is always messages that speak directly to my heart & soul, lifting me up & encouraging me to "keep the faith."
Here are a few of the things I heard at this 182 Semi-Annual General Conference...

It is never too late to make the Savior's atonement the foundation of our faith & lives.
I'm a Mormon - I am NOT ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
Knowledge is necessary to light & Godliness.
The Comforter will lift our spirits & bring us peace.
The Holy Ghost speaks with a voice that you feel rather than hear.

Let us resolve...
...to spend more time with those we love.
...to strive more earnestly to become the person God wants us to be.
...to find happiness regardless of our circumstances.
Teaching in the home is the most sacred & important responsibility.
Service is the definition of pure religion.
Pray to recognize opportunities to serve.
The Book of Mormon is sacred scripture...read it, follow its principles.
Would you sell your soul for a nickel?
With the self-justification of petty sins, Satan triumphs.
When our efforts have been less than our best, we need to move quickly to correct anything that is amiss, recognizing that we cannot hide our sins from the Lord.
Their faith did NOT falter!

Conversion isn't a one time event, it is a life-long process.
Obedience & submission to His will brings the blessings of the Holy Ghost.
What do you think of during the Sacrament?
We must come prepared, be willing to listen, & not be distracted.
The Sacrament renews the process of forgiveness.
A testimony is personal knowledge of spiritual truth received through revelation.
Conversion requires all of our heart, might, mind, & strength.
Testimony alone will not be enough to protect us in the battle against Satan.
It is our own responsibility to fill our own lamps of testimony with the oil of conversion.
The Lord is always on our side when we do what is right.
